Restless Legs Syndrome

What is Restless Legs Syndrome?

We have a blog post on the symptoms of Restless Legs that digs into the science a bit more. We also have a Forbidden Podcast #21 – Restless Leg Syndrome – How to Stop the Shaking and Pain Forever that would be very helpful to listen to. Following is a comment from a patient that listened to that podcast and loved the results:

Instagram Review of Restless Legs – Podcast #21

“I suffer with severe Restless leg Syndrome. I recently started following the protocol given in Dr Jack’s Podcast(#21). It’s only been three days, which is what he said it would take and it’s working! I slept 10 hours and I actually sat down and watched TV.
I want to shout it from the roof, post it on a billboard.
After a fair amount of success (time) I will do just that.
This benign disease is debilitating to those of us who suffer from it.
Thank you Thank you Thank you”

What is the root cause of Restless Legs Syndrome?

This can drive someone out of their mind. This is an imbalance between Vitamin D, Calcium, and Vitamin F (essential fatty acids). This protocol will deliver to the deep muscle tissues what they need is to have the calcium channels do their job and bring about lasting relaxation. Listen to our Podcast #21 Restless Legs Syndrome, to learn more.

Is there something Natural you can do for Restless Legs Syndrome?

You can nutritionally support the body to take care of any deficiencies that may cause Restless Legs.

“First, you have to get the right kind of calcium in your diet. Eating organic leafy green vegetables and raw dairy products can be very helpful, or you can take Calcium Lactate either in powdered form or tablets. You don’t want pasteurized dairy products because the pasteurization destroys the calcium-binding enzyme phosphatase which will stop calcium from binding with your bones.

“Second, make sure you have plenty of vitamin D in your diet. If you get vitamin D from sunlight, then you need to spend about 30 minutes outdoors three times per week with, at least, your arms exposed. During winter, you may need up to eight hours of sunlight. It’s much easier to take Cod Liver Oil, which has a high concentration of vitamins D and A or takes the whole food vitamin D supplement from Standard Process: Cataplex D.

“Third, you need to make sure that your body has adequate amounts of diffused calcium. This is the ionized calcium deep in the tissues. Otherwise, the calcium will not get out of the blood and won’t penetrate your tissues and muscles to calm your legs from shaking. You can do this by frequently eating fish or taking Cataplex F.”  –– Dr. Jack Stockwell

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BULLETS BEFORE USING THIS PROTOCOL
  • The protocol above is designed to address your issues at the foundational level, and not to treat disease. This means, in our opinion, most of our health problems, short of accident or trauma, are of a dietary nutritional deficiency. The listed protocol or supplement provides your body with essential micro and macronutrients to help and assist normal nutritional balance.
  • Daily dosages are in ( ) parenthesis for most protocols; for example (6) means take 6 per day, but spread it out by taking half in the morning and a half in the evening. Some protocols will have more specific instructions to follow.
  • MediHerb products, shown in italics, often speed healing response and should be considered for most protocols unless contraindicated.
  • We recommend adding the General Health Daily Fundamentals pack to each protocol. This adds to the critical foundational nutrition each protocol needs. It contains Catalyn––an entirely whole-food and glandular broad-spectrum multivitamin, Trace Minerals-B12, and Tuna Omega-3 pearls for your DHA and EPA omega 3 fatty acids daily requirements.
  • Spacing out the daily doses throughout the day improves absorption and is strongly recommended.
  • Most supplements should be taken with food except for PMG’s, most calcium products, Gastrex, Chlorophyll Complex™, Okra Pepsin E3, Cholocol II, and Zymex II. Also, most herbs work more efficiently if taken away from food.
  • Be advised that these nutritional and herbal products are not intended as primary therapy for any disease, but rather to provide nutritional and herbal support to help normalize body physiology and repair.
