Colds and the flu are the most common forms of upper respiratory sickness we know. The major difference between them symptom wise, is extreme exhaustion and fever with the flu, otherwise, the rest of the symptoms are basically the same. Colds are caused by something called a rhinovirus. Flu is caused by another of several viruses’ most common are influenza A, B, or C.
These viral elements are everywhere, all the time. What makes us more susceptible during October until April, is our weakened immune system because of all the sugar we consume during the holidays. Staying indoors and not getting enough sunlight is also a contributing factor. Sugar weakens our immune system’s resistance to these common microbes, so we see more of this problem during the holiday months. In fact, sugar can “stun” our white blood cells for up to three days! What are the symptoms?
Symptoms can range from a runny nose, cough, fever, malaise, aches and pains, to throwing up. It can vary dependent on the strain and the state of your health prior to getting the cold or flu.

Sugar weakens our immune system’s resistance to these common microbes, so we see more of this problem during the holiday months. The protocol below is designed to get your immune system back in gear and on guard. It has the nutrients you need to support your immune system and fight off the pathogens. Is there anything natural you can do for the cold and flu?
Listed below are ways you can nutritionally support the immune system and whole body during the cold and flu times. They are broken down into different stages you may be in and ways to help stop the cold and flu from progressing or lingering for too long.
Colds and Flu Protocol
To Build Immune System BEFORE Colds or Flu:
Immuplex, 4 a day (2 tabs, 2x a day)
Calcium Lactate Tablets, 6 a day (empty stomach)
Cataplex C, 6 a day
Cataplex F, 3 a day
Echinacea Premium Tablets, 1 a day
First Signs of Colds or Flu – add these, or up dosages, to the above supplements:
Immuplex, Increase to 9 a day
Congaplex, 9 a day, 2-3 every hour
Thymex, 9 a day
Andrographis Complex, 3 a day
If Colds or Flu Persists (Secondary Infection) add these, or up dosages, to the above supplements:

Cal-Amo, 16 a day (4 tabs, 4x a day) This helps acidify the body which helps prevent the pH from slipping into alkalinity, which is where those secondary infections after the flu come from. Switch to Powdered Calcium Lactate, morning and night on an empty stomach. It’s now known, for example, that plague bacteria, that’s right – bubonic plague bacteria, Y. pestis, THRIVES in a low calcium environment!
Congaplex, 3 every half-hour
Cataplex A-C, 6-9 a day, lung support
Pneumotrophin PMG, 4 in morning, 4 in afternoon, 4 in evening. Take away from food (Empty stomach).
Thymex, 12 a day
Chlorophyll Complex Pearls, 6 a day. Cleanses the blood and helps inflammation. (Chew on rear molars and swallow for a sore throat. Also, use Herbal Throat Spray)
Zinc Liver Chelate, 6 a day
Liquid Echinacea Premium, 5mL 3x a day
Andrographis Complex, 6 a day or 1 every hour – depending on severity. If it’s a sore throat switch to Astragalus Complex, 6 a day or 2 every hour you are awake – depending on severity.

Turmeric Forte, 3-6 a day. For inflammation and known antibacterial effects.
Garlic Forte, 3 a day. A natural antibiotic.
Zymex Wafers, 4-8 a day. For sugar cravings. Fundamental microbiome support for the after-effects of antibiotics.
